I first got into knitting just before I got pregnant with my first born. I enjoyed making scarfs I didn't really know how to do anything else. When I found out I was going to have a baby boy I wanted to make a blanket for him. So I taught myself how to make a blanket - it's not perfect but I did it and he love's it. Still to this day he will snuggle up with it. The problem is it's a baby blanket and it barely covers him. My knitting skills improved by the time my second son came along. I made up my own unique pattern for it - still a few mistakes but no one is perfect. When I finished N's blanket Hubby LOVED it and asked for one - I just laughed and said "don't you know how long it took me to just a baby size blanket? It would take forever for me to do a king size."
Well the time came when hubby was going to go overseas for a YEAR and I figured what better time to make him a blanket. It would be my worry project which I started in Jan 2010. I figured that I would be able to surprise him when he came home.....well I was WRONG. I didn't stick with it and I still have about 100 more rows.
Ready for the crazy part?
I have been driving myself nuts over this for over a year wanting to be done and here I am planning ANOTHER blanket and not just one, no that would be too easy. I decided I want one and I also wanna make one for both of the boys since they have out grown their baby blankets.
Maybe I am not crazy but I think if i keep piling on projects I will be.

Tuesday errands
I am looking forward to the day I get to do errands by myself! I love to shop but shopping with two kiddos in tow NOT SO MUCH. I think I am gonna begin a countdown till N first day of school. Yes it is bitter sweet to see my babes grow up so fast but this momma needs a break.
Here's a sample of how today (and most Tuesdays go).
6:00 Boys are up
7:00 I am finally getting going (once i realize there is no chance of getting anymore sleep)
7:30 Breakfast for boys - get wroking on the grocery list
8:00 start getting dressed
8:15 OK BOYS ENOUGH PLAYING AT THE TABLE - breakfast over
8:20 BOYS GET DRESSED......
8:40 BOYS QUIT PLAYING AROUND AND GET READY TO GO
8:45 i round up the library books/movies - boys get shoes on
9:00 out the door
First stop walmat -
"mommy i don't wanna ride in the basket i wanna walk" "No" - N goes in the seat J in the basket ............ "N turn around and leave J alone" "are we done yet?" "we just got here" - about 45 min of looking and yelling at the boys to leave eachother alone, be quiet and for J to sit up and quit laying down on the things im buying we head to check out - luck today went rather quickly :)
Call hubby to see if he wants to meet for lunch - "Sure" - off to subway
Lunch - "mommy i don't want subway" daddy says "just eat it"
J eats 3 in of ham & cheese sub N complains and won't eat - after a semi enjoyable lunch with hubby time to part ways
Library - turn in last weeks books and movies & start to look for new
J & N running around being louds after being told to be quiet we started to pick out new movies first "if you two can't be quiet and settle down we won't get anything" (warning didn't work) so we left kicking and screaming empty handed
now time for the commissary - UGH let me just put it this way i had a list and I STILL forgot stuff that was on the list! mostly because i couldn't focus on what i was doing because boys yelling at eachother, poking eachother, touching items on the shelves, taking sales tags down ect
then came the worst.............CHECKOUT!
I was happy to see on one in line one person at each register ( or so i thought) i go to the one that looks almost done (looks can be decieving). chasier having problems, then the lady wanted to buy cigerets then had trouble paying - next lady only 4 items ( should have gone in the express lane or self checkout ) having problems - and then one more lady again should have gone to express with only one item. after fighting with the children who want to get unbuckled from the cart and be lound and pick at eachother it's finally my turn - once the chasier starts to ring up my items looks at the boys and says "WOW they are being sooooooo good" Ha the thought made me want to laugh but by now i am so ready to be done myself i just gave her a polite smile and said "yeah, now they are"
finally get home 1:30 send the boys to their rooms after talking to them about their behavior I have a car to unload as i'm putting away the groceries i notice the fridge needs to be cleaned out and reorganized - "UGH" is all i have to say at this point because all i want is a nap :(

My First Post ;)
Let the journey begin..............
I am a bit nervous starting this blog, in the past I haven't been good at sicking with things I start. They usually last about a week then I just give up or quit. Not because it's hard mostly because I get bored or it has lost it's apeal and excitement or even just lose my motivation. I am hoping I can stick with this. I have always found it hard to write weather it is for a school assignment, a letter to a friend or loved one, or even writing in a journal for myself. I get overly critical about what to write and how it looks ect. I get so bogged down with the details that I miss the joy of writing in general. On this blog I am going to try not to be overly critical about my work let my words just flow. So bear with me if my structure isn't just right or I use the wrong word or have spelling errors. I am just trying to write fun the fun if I focus too much on the other stuff then I will just get overwelmed and not do it at all. I hope you enjoy reading it as I do writing.
